PURPOSE: A manganese slag stabilizing method is provided to reduce the production of free CaO during a cooling process by stabilizing and regenerating slag.;CONSTITUTION: A manganese slag stabilizing method comprises the steps of: perpendicularly dropping molten manganese slag at 1350-1400°C from a slag pot(10), spraying high-pressure gas through nozzles(40,50,60) to the molten slag(20) to separate the molten slag into fine droplets, and rapidly cooling the fine droplets with the sprayed gas and surrounding atmosphere, wherein the mass velocity ratio of the slag and the sprayed gas is 0.7-1.5 and the linear velocity of gas sprayed from the leading end of a nozzle is 60-80 m/s.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
