PURPOSE: A thread rolling tap is provided to reduce frictional resistance against a material by having a ridge apex with a small curvature radius and to enable smooth inflow of lubricant by having a ridge clearance with a large curvature radius.;CONSTITUTION: A thread rolling tap comprises a tapered chamfer portion formed with external threads and a parallel portion extended from the chamfer portion. The chamber portion includes a guide portion(221) on one side thereof which touches the surface of a through hole to guide the thread rolling tap into the through hole. The guide portion touches the surface of the through hole before the threads of the chamber portion so that the chamber portion does not separate from the surface of the through hole when the threads of the chamfer portion touches the surface of the through hole.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
