PURPOSE: An outline revising device is provided to perform proper outline revision according to an edge part and a texture part of an image.;CONSTITUTION: An image determining unit(24) performs edge detection processing and texture detection processing. A change of a signal is detected from an image as an edge part for the edge detection processing. A texture part is detected from the image for the texture detection processing. A change of a signal smaller than the edge part is repeatedly generated in the texture part.
