Novel human conjoined genes or conjoined gene transcript variants, and a use thereof

PURPOSE: A novel human conjoined gene or a conjoined gene transcript variant thereof is provided to us used as a target for identifying carcinogenesis mechanism and diagnosing cancer. CONSTITUTION: A DNA microarray for diagnosing cancer contains integrated oligonucleotides of a novel human conjoined gene(CG) or conjoined gene transcript variants(CGTVs) or a complementary molecule thereof. A kit for diagnosing cancer contains the DNA microarray. A method for identifying gene expression for providing information of cancer diagnosis in an individual comprises: a step of preparing a sample from the individual; and a step of identifying expression of the human conjoined genes(CGs) or conjoined gene transcript variants(CGTVs) from the sample. The sample is a tissue, cell, whole blood, serum, plasma, spittle, or urine.
