PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of tungsten carbide-iron composite powder using pulsed wire discharge inside a liquid is provided to enhance stability, dispersibility, and mix uniformity of the tungsten carbide-iron composite powder. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of tungsten carbide-iron composite powder using pulsed wire discharge inside a liquid comprises the following steps: manufacturing a suspension by mixing tungsten carbide powder with a fluid(s101); performing pulsed wire discharge in the suspension by using a metal wire(s103); evaporating the fluid inside the suspension of the previous step(s105); and heating the tungsten carbide-iron composite powder collected from the previous step(s107). In the suspension manufacturing step, the tungsten carbide powder has a surface charge by controlling the pH of the fluid. The pulsed wire discharge step is processed by providing a 0.5-20kV voltage for 1-60 seconds. The thermal processing step is processed at 600-700 deg. Celsius for 1-5 hours.
