摘要

PURPOSE: A welded electrode polishing degree sensor device and a control method thereof are provided to reduce the influence of foreign materials influencing to a sensor hole by installing a light transmitting unit and a light receiving unit in left and right sides of the sensor hole.;CONSTITUTION: A welded electrode polishing degree sensor device comprises a sensor frame, a light transmitting unit(111), a light receiving unit(112), an air guide hole, and a control unit. The sensor frame comprises a sensor hole. A leading end of a welded electrode is seated on the sensor hole. The light transmitting unit projects lights to a leading end direction of the welded electrode seated on the sensor hole. The light receiving unit receives lights reflected by the leading end of the welded electrode. The air guide hole guides compressed air being jet to a sensor hole direction for cleaning the inside of the sensor hole. The control unit decides whether or not an amount of the reflected lights received by the light receiving unit is over predetermined criteria, thereby determining the grinding failure existence of the leading end of the welded electrode.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
