REMOVAL METHOD OF PHOSPHORUS FROM SEWAGE AND WASTEWATER BY ELECTRIC COAGULATION AND A FACILITY FOR THE SAME CAPABLE OF MINIMIZING THE AMOUNT OF SLUDGE GENERATION AND MAXIMIZING THE EFFICIENCY OF PHOSPHORUS REMOVAL
PURPOSE: A removal method of phosphorus from sewage and wastewater by electric coagulation and a facility for the same are provided to prevent the generation of scum due to hydrogen gas and to reduce the amount of precipitates.;CONSTITUTION: A removal method of phosphorus from sewage and wastewater by electric coagulation includes the following steps: an electric coagulation bath(100) with an electrode assembly is prepared, and the electrode assembly(200) is composed of a porous partition(230) between an anode(210) and a cathode(220); sewage and wastewater passes through the electric coagulation bath to generate an electric coagulation reaction; treated water is supplied to a mixing bath(300) and is stirred by injecting air into the anode during a process for generating the electric coagulation reaction; and the color of the treated water is removed, and the precipitation of electric coagulated sludge is improved by introducing a metal ion reducing agent.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (AA) Metal ion reducing agent; (BB,CC) Sewage and wastewater; (DD,EE) Primarily treated water; (FF) Finally treated water
