PURPOSE: A low temperature sintering method for high melting point metal and a high melting point metal compact manufactured by the method are provided to simplify complex sintering processes by forming spherical micro-particles and depositing nano-particle deposition on the surface of the micro-particles through a single process.;CONSTITUTION: A low temperature sintering method for high melting point metal comprises the steps of: charging powder of high melting point metal into a plasma chamber; processing the charged powder with thermal plasma to melt or evaporate the nano-size particles, not the micro-particles; cooling the melted or evaporated materials to be compacted into nano-particles at the surface of the micro-particles; and sintering the mixed powder, in which the nano-particles are deposited on the micro-particles, in an inert atmosphere.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
