PURPOSE: A location-based construction site management method and a system thereof are provided to store construction information related to collected parts in a corresponding space of a 3D model or a 2D model and automatically recognizing a position of a corresponding facility by receiving the signal intensity or an intrinsic recognition code of an active sensor or a non-active sensor in a mobile device. CONSTITUTION: A design information storage unit(130) stores a 2D drawing or a 3D drawing about buildings. A construction location code storage unit(110) stores location information of each construction location. A wireless terminal(120) receives site information of the construction location and position information of the construction location code storage unit. A construction location mapping unit(140) maps a location value of the construction location with the 2D drawing or the 3D drawing and the location information of the construction location code storage unit. A construction information storage unit(150) stores the inputted site information by interlinking with the mapped location.
