PURPOSE: Nickel-free high-nitrogen duplex stainless steel with excellent combination of strength and ductility is provided to improve economic efficiency, price stability, and environmentally-friendly characteristic by substituting Mn and N for Ni. CONSTITUTION: Nickel-free high-nitrogen duplex stainless steel with excellent combination of strength and ductility comprises 16.5-19.5 weight% of Cr, 2.5-3.0 weight% of Mo, 1.0-5.0 weight% of W, 6.0-7.0 weight% of Mn, 0.45-0.60 weight% of N, and the remaining amount of Fe and inevitable impurities, where the impurities contain 0.03 weight% or less of C and 0.5 weight% or less of S.
