PURPOSE: Feed for eel and a feed additive capable of reducing the manufacturing costs are provided to improve the resisting power of the eel against diseases for reducing energy consumption from a fish farm.;CONSTITUTION: A feed additive for eel is produced by the following steps: mixing 100 parts of Coprinus comatus by weight with 50-200 parts of water by weight, and extracting for 20-70 minutes at 80-100 deg. C to obtain a Coprinus comatus extract; mixing0.05-20 parts of Coprinus comatus extract by weight with 0.05-20 parts of mushroom mixture by weight; inserting 1-30 parts of market milk or skimmed milk powder by weight into the mixture; sterilizing the mixture for 30-300 minutes at 80-100 deg.
