PURPOSE: A camera photographing method is provided to calculate a reducing rate according to a focal distance of a subject, thereby reducing only horizontal sizes of a screen.;CONSTITUTION: A control unit detects a focal distance of a subject when a camera photographs the subject. The control unit reduces a horizontal size of a screen(4) at a set reducing rate(Y) based on the detected focal distance. The reducing rate is (Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1)xX+[Y1-(Y2-Y1)/(X2/X1)xX1]. X is a focal distance. X1 is a minimum focal distance. X2 is a maximum focal distance. Y1 is a reducing rate when a focal distance is X1.
