SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR EVALUATING A LOAD CARRYING CAPACITY OF A BRIDGE BASED ON AN OPTICAL FIBER SENSOR, CAPABLE OF PRECISELY CALCULATING A LOAD CARRYING CAPACITY OF A BRIDGE
PURPOSE: A system and a method for evaluating a load carrying capacity of a bridge based on an optical fiber sensor are provided to install a plurality of optical fiber accelerometers, a strain gauge, and a temperature sensor in one cable at the same time and to measure an acceleration response, a strain response, and temperature information based on a system configuration at the same time.;CONSTITUTION: A system for evaluating a load carrying capacity of a bridge based on an optical fiber sensor comprises an optical fiber cable(100), a plurality of optical fiber accelerometers(210), an optical fiber strain gauge(230), a measurement unit(300), and a calculation unit(400). The optical fiber cable is installed along a bridge. The optical fiber accelerometers are connected to the optical fiber cable in series and installed in the bridge, thereby sensing the acceleration of the bridge. The optical fiber strain gauge is connected to the optical fiber cable in series and installed in the bridge, thereby sensing the strain of the bridge. The measurement unit is connected to the optical fiber accelerometers and optical fiber strain gauge through the optical fiber cable, thereby measuring acceleration signals and strain signals generated in the bridge.
