System and Method for Telematics Service through Road Status Real Time Update

A system and a method for providing a telematics service through real-time road status update and a method thereof are provided to give better driving path information to a user by providing a circuitous route on the basis of real-time updated road status information in case that the state of a road gets worse due to a traffic accident or a natural disaster. A system for providing a telematics service through real-time road status update comprises the first mobile terminal(15a), the second mobile terminal(15b), a database(12), and a telematics server(11). The first mobile terminal transmits road status information. The second mobile terminal receives driving path information and provides it to the user. The database updates and stores road status information. The telematics server receives road status information from the first mobile terminal, updates the database, and reflects real-time updated road status information into the driving path information which is provided to the second mobile terminal.
