PURPOSE: A drain pipe sediment cleaning apparatus and a dredging method are provided to prevent damage to a jet nozzle due to external impacts and implement quick dredging of sediments.;CONSTITUTION: A drain pipe sediment cleaning apparatus comprises a cleaning device(10) which washes sediments by moving along the inside of a drain pipe and a dredging device(20) which is installed behind the cleaning device to suck and dredge washed sediments. The cleaning device comprises a propelling nozzle propelled by high-pressure water supplied through a high-pressure hose(15c), a housing(11) with a cone-shaped front part to crush sediments solidified at the bottom of a drain pipe, first and second rotary shafts rotated by high-pressure water, and forward and counter rotating jet nozzles(18,18a) which are coupled to ends of the rotary shafts to wash off sediments. The dredging device comprises a dredging hopper(21) connected to the rear side of the housing of the cleaning device through a rope(22), a suction hole(23) formed at the bottom to draw in sediments, and a suction storage tank(28) storing the sediments drawn in.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
