ELASTOMERIC BEARING PAD ASSEMBLY AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: An elastic bearing assembly for a bridge and a construction method thereof are provided to easily install and replace a pad portion and to reduce the maintenance costs of the pad. CONSTITUTION: An elastic bearing assembly for a bridge comprises an upper plate(10), a lower plate(20), a pad portion(30), a first auxiliary plate(40), and support anchors(50). The upper plate is fixed to the bottom surface of the upper structure of a bridge and has a cut portion and multiple first fastening holes. The lower plate is fixed to the top surface of the lower structure of the bridge. The pad portion comprises a rubber pad and multiple metal plates. The metal plates are arranged inside the rubber pad at uniform intervals and are installed between the upper and lower plates. The first auxiliary plate is installed on the bottom of the upper plate and has multiple second fastening holes corresponding to the first fastening holes and multiple third fastening holes coupled to the pad portion. The support anchors are installed on the bottom of the lower plate and are inserted into the top surface of the lower structure of the bridge.
