AMORPHOUS SHAPED ARTIFICIAL MARBLE CHIP AND A MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF CAPABLE OF SIMPLIFYING A MANUFACTURING PROCESS AND A MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An amorphous shaped artificial marble chip and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance strength, durability, and a water proofing property.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of amorphous shaped artificial marble chip comprises the following steps: forming amorphous shaped droplets(20) by dropping resin syrup in a reaction bath(100) in which pulverized first marble chips are contained(10); spraying second marble chips(30) on the amorphous droplets; and removing the first and second marble chips which are not combined with the amorphous droplets. The resin syrup includes 0.1-2.0 parts by weight of an initiator based on 100 parts by weight of a binder. The binder is one or two selected from unsaturated polyester resin, polyurethane resin, epoxy resin, and brominated epoxy-acrylate. The sum total of the content of the first and second marble chips is 0.1-300 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the resin syrup.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
