PURPOSE: A transplant tool and a marine ecosystem reconstruction method is provided to have a structure simple, to make use convenient, and to efficiently fix the tool. CONSTITUTION: An ascidian retaining piece is composed of a bar(10) and a spike(20) equipped on a U-shaped bar. Both end parts of the U-shaped barbar have an acrosome shape. A spike is equipped between both ends of the U-shaped bar and an area which is 1/2.5 of the whole length of the U-shaped bar forms an angle around 110-160 degrees in the direction of the outer side and the end. A spike forms an angle of 20-90 degrees in an opposite direction of the outer side and the end of the U-shaped bar. A spike is formed in a bar with a cross section of a semicircle or a triangle and it is fixed to have a plane included in the semicircle or triangular bar on a facet which faces the U-shaped bar. A furrow(30) to fix the ascidian tightly is formed in the inner middle area of the U-shaped bar. The furrow is formed to have a semicircle shape or a U-shape. The U-shaped bar and spike is made of a biodegradable polymer, stainless steel, FRP ,or a reinforced plastic material.
