PURPOSE: A positron emission tomography(PET)-magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) convergence system is provided to improve the quality of converged image by blocking the mutual influence caused by MRI and PET, and to suggest a detachable structure for using a PET detector separately, thereby obtaining a PET-MRI converged image of high quality and operation efficiency.;CONSTITUTION: A PET-MRI convergence system includes an MRI system(201) for MRI image and a PET detector(202) for PET scan. The PET-MRI convergence system comprises a magnet bore(210); a gradient coil(211) which generates a gradient magnetic field; a body coil(212) which emits an RF pulse signal to an examinee; an MRI RF receiver coil(213) which receives MRI data; a first through-hole(214); a second through-hole(215); a PET detector(221) which detects PET data emitted from an examinee; a carrier(230) which carries an examinee; a RF shielding(222) which blocks the RF signal emitted from the MRI RF coil; and a carrier driving unit(231).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
