PURPOSE: A tundish for a continuous casting process is provided to extend the time of using brick layers by reducing the abrasion degree of a brick since the bricks of the upper brick layer is arranged lengthwise.;CONSTITUTION: A tundish for a continuous casting process includes an outermost steel shell(10), a permanent lining brick layer(20), an unshaped refractory layer(32), and an upper brick layer(33). The permanent lining brick layer is built in the inner side of the outermost steel shell. The unshaped refractory layer is formed on the lower part of the side wall of tundish in the inner side of the permanent lining brick layer.
