PURPOSE: A vibration damping device for a drive shaft is provided to enhance the vibration damping performance by generating resistance heat at the predetermined resonant frequency using a shape memory alloy spring as an inner ring.;CONSTITUTION: A vibration damping device for a drive shaft includes a drive shaft(10) which rotates at a high speed to transmit power, and a damper(110) which absorbs the vibration of the drive shaft. The damper includes an elastic block which comprises an outer ring, an inner ring, and an elastic ring. The outer ring is a mass with a predetermined length which is connected to the drive shaft concentrically. The inner ring is arranged concentrically inside the outer ring. The elastic ring is arranged between the inner ring and the drive shaft.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
