PURPOSE: Data processing determination method of multi-core application by energy efficiency is provided to predict energy efficiency for application by calculation, and determine parallel processing of the application according to predicted result, thereby improve data process efficiency. CONSTITUTION: Power consumption calculator(110) computes power consumption according to operating core of application which will be processed through multi-core processor. Processing time calculator(130) calculates processing time according to data processing of the application. Energy calculator(150) calculates amount of energy generated when processing data of the application, based on the power consumption and the processing time. If the amount of energy is less than the amount of energy generated while processing the application through single core, process decision unit(170) determines parallel process of the application.
