PURPOSE: An accident sensing method based on image processing of a vehicle is provided to improve accident determination accuracy by sensing an accident through image processing for a speed bump.;CONSTITUTION: A black box for a vehicle detects a characteristic value for determining an accident from an acceleration value of a vehicle(S110). When a speed bump is existed, the black box applies a weighted value to the set accident threshold value(S120,S131). When the speed bump is not existed, the black box maintains the set accident threshold value(S132).
