PURPOSE: An address mapping information management method and a storage device applying the method are provided to recover address mapping information of recorded data which is not stored in a storage device even when an abnormal power-off occurs in the storage device, thereby reading recorded data stored before the abnormal power-off without error.;CONSTITUTION: Address mapping recovery information generated on the basis of a recording operation is recorded in a user data area of a storage device as an initially fixed unit(S102). When an abnormal power-off occurs in the storage device the address mapping recovery information which is not recorded in the storage device is stored in a NVM(Non-Volatile Memory) apparatus(S104).
