PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of cumyl alcohol and a manufacturing method of phenol, acetone and alpha-methylstyrene are provided to manufacture cumyl alcohol from cumene hydroperoxide at high conversion rate.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of cumyl alcohol includes a step of hydrogenating cumene hydroperoxide under Pd-Co catalyst. A manufacturing method of phenol, acetone and alpha methyl styrene comprises the following steps: manufacturing cumene hydroperoxide stream by oxidizing the cumene; manufacturing cumyl alcohol by separating a part of the cumene hydroperoxide and hydrogenating the same under Pd-Co catalyst; and dehydrating the reactant including the cumyl alcohol and remaining part of the cumene hydroperoxide stream under acidic catalyst.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (AA) CHP conversion rate(%); (BB) CA selectivity(%); (CC) CA yield(%); (DD) Embodiment 1; (EE) Embodiment 2; (FF) Embodiment 3; (GG) Embodiment 4; (HH) Embodiment 5
