ECO-FRIENDLY INTERIOR MATERIALS FOR BUILDING USING EXPANDED PERLITE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PURPOSE: An environment-friendly indoor interior material using perlite is provided to use expanded perlite and a binder in an optimum ratio to have excellent light weight, heat insulation, heat keeping, air purification, fire-proof, and soundproof properties. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of an environment-friendly indoor interior material using perlite comprises the following steps: crushing perlite raw ore into the size smaller than 12 meshes; processing the crushed perlite into expanded perlite; mixing the expanded perlite with a binder in a weight ratio of 1:0.05-1.0; compress-molding the mixture of the expanded perlite and the binder; and plasticizing the compress-molded mixture at 800-1,200 deg. C. The binder is a mixture of one or more than two selected from elvan, yellow soil, charcoal, or sludge. The perlite processing step is conducted at the expansion furnace temperature of 1,200 deg. C, the expansion low temperature of 1,100 deg. C, and the preheating temperature of 400 deg. C.
