摘要

PURPOSE: A direct modulation outer resonance laser apparatus is provided to produce an output optical signal by directly modulating inner semiconductor laser diode of outer resonance laser.;CONSTITUTION: The rear side(202) of LD(200) is reflect-coated in order to have the reflectance of 30-90%. The front side(201) is non-reflect-coated in order to have the reflectance within 1%. One side(102) of the negative chapped fiber grating(103) has a lens form. In order to monitor optical output of the outer resonance laser(120) on a real time basis, a monitoring photo diode(203) is located in the fiber grating rear side(104). The optical outputted from the rear face of the LD passes through the lens(300) and an optical isolator(301).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
