SYSTEM AND METHOD TO CONFIGURE AND MANAGE MULTI-DOMAIN OVERLAY NETWORK IN THE SMART NETWORK OPTIMIZED FOR CONTENT DELIVERY

PURPOSE: A method for building and managing a multi-domain based overlay network in a smart network which is optimized for content transmission and a system thereof are provided to reconstruct the network corresponding to a join/leave request or the state of a gateway and a node which make up the overlay network. CONSTITUTION: A smart network is formed into an overlay form by dividing a network into multi-domains. Each domain includes a smart gateway(SG) and a smart node(SN). The smart gateway maintains an information table for an overlay network. The smart gateway maintains and manages the information table for nodes in the domain. The smart node is included in each domain.
