PURPOSE: A progressive multifocal side mirror is provided to maintain the viewing angle of a driver and to remove a blind spot caused by a car body, the distorted image displayed from a car side mirror and an incorrect sense of distance.;CONSTITUTION: A progressive multifocal side mirror includes an inner area(A), an outer area(C) and a central area(B). The inner area and the outer area have the radii of curvature and the eccentricities different from each other. The eccentricity is a constant value in the outer area and a gradually changing value in the inner area.
