PURPOSE: An adapter cable for encryption is provided to increase security of a secret key by generating the secret key with sounds inputted by a musical instrument.;CONSTITUTION: An adapter cable(200) includes a musical instrument connection unit(210), a determination unit(240), a coding table storage unit(250), a coding unit(260), and a terminal connection unit(270). The musical instrument connection unit is connected to a musical instrument. The musical instrument connection unit receives sounds which are performed by a user from the musical instrument. The determination unit determines the inputted sounds. The coding table storage unit stores codes corresponding to the whole sounds of the musical instrument. The coding unit converts the inputted sounds into a corresponding code.
