PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for measuring the altitude angle and azimuth angle of the sun are provided to precisely measure the altitude angle and azimuth angle of the sun by using a projected shadow and an illuminance sensor.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring the altitude angle and azimuth angle of the sun comprises a flat main body(100), a protruded member(300), an illuminance distribution measuring part(200), and a calculating part. The main body has an opened face. The protruded member is protruded from the top of the main body. The illuminance distribution measuring part is installed in the opened face of the main body and has multiple illuminance cells to recognize the shadow of the protruded member. The calculating part calculates the illuminance angle and azimuth angle of the sun according to the length and direction of the shadow of the protruded member.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
