PURPOSE: A voltage regulator is provided to control a gate of an output MOS transistor without a delay by connecting an output of a MOS transistor to the gate of the output MOS transistor without a resistance.;CONSTITUTION: A differential amplifier(20) receives a reference voltage and a feedback voltage and amplifies a difference between the reference voltage and the feedback voltage. A gate terminal of a first MOS transistor(23) is connected to an output terminal of the differential amplifier. A first constant current source(24) is installed between the first MOS transistor and a ground terminal. A gate terminal of an output MOS transistor(14) is connected to a drain terminal of the first MOS transistor through a phase compensation circuit. An output of the differential amplifier is inputted to a gate terminal of a second MOS transistor. A drain terminal of the second MOS transistor is connected to the gate terminal of the output MOS transistor. A second constant current source(24a) is installed between the ground terminal and the drain terminal of the second MOS transistor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
