PURPOSE: A functionalized vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon-conjugated diene block copolymer is provided to functionalize without degradation of a molecular weight, to have excellent compatibility with asphalt, and to remarkably reduce dissolving time of an asphalt composition.;CONSTITUTION: A functionalized vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon-conjugated diene block copolymer comprises aldehyde groups inside a butadiene block. The content of the aldehyde group is 50-1600 ppm based on the weight ratio of the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon-conjugated diene block copolymer.
