PURPOSE: An SoC(System-On-Chip) selectively performing the power control of different kinds and the power control of the same kind and an operating method thereof are provided to efficiently manage power consumed in the SoC by selectively performing the power control of the different kinds and the power control of the same kind. When the different kind power management units include a state machine including a set of the same states and synchronized through the power control method of the same kind, the different kind power management units are synchronized through a lockstep method to be operated.
