PURPOSE: An anti-falling device for a stacker crane is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost and to facilitate maintenance by having a simple structure.;CONSTITUTION: An anti-falling device for a stacker crane comprises posts(10), a carriage(20), and safety units(30). The posts are symmetrically arranged to receive cargo. The carriage is arranged in between the posts to lift the cargo with a wire(W), and has guide rollers(21) engaged with one side of the posts. The safety units are formed on the posts and the carriage to prevent the falling of the carriage. The safety units comprise holding grooves(31) and hooks(35). The holding grooves are arranged on one side of the posts at regular intervals. The hooks are coupled to both ends of the carriage while being automatically turned by the gravity of the both ends.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
