DETECTING METHOD OF FOCUSING SPOT POSITION OF LASER MACHINING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A method for detecting a light-condensing spot of a laser processing device is provided to properly detect, in an axial direction, the position of a light-condensing spot where laser beams are condensed. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting a light-condensing spot of a laser processing device comprises: a step for setting a designed value of a light-condensing spot of laser beams and setting a reference position of a Z-axis direction of a light-condensing device according to the thickness of a plate; a step for setting a plurality of Z-axial positions from a starting point to a finishing point of a detection position of the light-condensing device; and a step for successively positioning the light-condensing device from the starting point to the finishing point, indexing-transferring the light-condensing device by using indexing transferring members(38,43) when changing the detection position of the light-condensing device, and forming laser processing grooves of preset length on the plate at each detection position of the light-condensing device; a step for photographing the laser processing grooves on the plate with a photographing member(6); and a step for marking the laser processing grooves on a straight line corresponding to each detection position.
