PURPOSE: A device for transferring a steel coil is provided to support the steel coil in various sizes, and to prevent defects on the outer circumference of the steel coil.;CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for transferring a steel coil comprises a lower body(1), an upper body(3), a lifter(5), a pressing plate(7), and a lifter pressing unit. The pressing plate comprises a pressing plate frame(71) and a support unit. The support unit penetrates through the frame. One end of the support unit supports a lower part of the pressing plate frame and the other end elastically supports the pressing plate frame by being located in an accommodation space. The lifter pressing unit is equipped in the accommodation space and pressurizes the lifter in order to withdraw the lifter from a lifter guider when a supply arm pressurizes the pressing plate frame.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
