PURPOSE: A bending loss insensitive optical fiber is provided to have a short cut-off wavelength by maintaining the difference between the outer circumference refractive index of an inner layer and the inner circumference refractive index of a trench layer to be small and satisfy a minimum bending property by enlarging the difference between the outer circumference refractive index of the trench layer and the refractive index of an outer layer, thereby having strengths in reliability and mass production.;CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber(100) has a relatively high refractive index and includes a core(110) transmitting an optical signal through total internal reflection and a clad(115) having a relatively low refractive index outside the core. A bending loss insensitive optical fiber consists of the core having the highest refractive index(n1) inside the optical fiber, an inner layer having a refractive index(n2) lower than the refractive index of the core, and a trench layer having an inner circumference refractive index(n3) lower than the refractive index of the inner layer and the lowest outer circumference refractive index(n4). A wavelength property and a bending property are satisfied at the same time by modulating the difference between the outer circumference refractive index of the inner layer and the inner circumference refractive index of the trench layer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
