PURPOSE: A file protecting device, a file protecting method thereof, and a computer-readable recording medium thereof are provided to prevent the exposure of important data of a file while permitting the access of an external device or an application program to the file. A service module(160) determines whether the application program is permitted to access the first file or not based on identification information related to the application program received from the access monitoring module.
