PURPOSE: A composition containing soluble RAGE(soluble receptor for advanced glycation end products) is provided to suppress revascularization, and to prevent and treat atherosclerosis and revascularization.;CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating atherosclerosis contains soluble RAGE polypeptide as an active ingredient. The soluble RAGE polypeptide contains an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. An apparatus for delivering a drug for topical administration is a stent on which the composition is coated.
