PURPOSE: A PRACH(Physical Random Access CHannel) power control method and a device thereof are provided to minimize interference between a base station and an uplink by minimizing power in RA(Random Access) transmission.;CONSTITUTION: A counter(110) calculates the retransmission number of RA preambles until an RA response point of a base station for RA preamble transmission. A control unit(120) calculates RA retransmission power by increasing a power level set in initial RA transmission as a predetermined value. The control unit initializes the power level as the power level set in the initial RA transmission by referring the retransmission correction of the RA preamble.
