PURPOSE: A sunroof control system and a switch fault control method are provided to allow a user to control the opening or closing of a sunroof through other switches when the switch for controlling the sunroof is broken down.;CONSTITUTION: A sunroof control system(100) comprises a switch box(110), a controller(120), and a motor(130). The switch box generates a switch input signal due to switch control by a user and comprises an opening switch(111), a closing switch(112), and a tilt switch(113). The controller detects a fault of a switch box with a switch input signal and generates a motor control signal.
