PURPOSE: A noise reduction device for a wall structure is provided to improve sound insulation performance in a resonant frequency by utilizing shunt damping and to reduce noise of the wall structure with small costs and simple composition.;CONSTITUTION: A noise reduction device for a wall structure comprises a stiffener(10), a plurality of piezoelectric materials(20), and a shunt circuit unit(30). The stiffener divides a wall structure(1) into a plurality of parts(1a) and forms a boundary condition for each part. The piezoelectric materials are attached to the each part of the wall structure divided by the stiffener and converts vibration energy due to vibration of the wall structure into electric energy. The shunt circuit unit is electrically connected to the piezoelectric material and converts electric energy transferred from the piezoelectric material into heat energy.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
