PURPOSE: Spheroidal graphite cast iron and a manufacturing method of a vane of a rotary compressor using the same are provided to improve wear resistance and shock resistance by applying high hardness carbide which is distributed in a bainite matrix structure where the volume ratio of the carbide to spheroidal graphite is 15-35%.;CONSTITUTION: Spheroidal graphite cast iron is composed of, in wt%: C: 3.4-3.9; Si: 2.0-3.0; Mn: 0.3-1.0; Cr: 0.1-1.0; Ti: 0.04-0.15; P0.08; S0.025; Mg: 0.03-0.05; rare earth: 0.02-0.04; and the remainder Fe and inevitable impurities. The spheroidal graphite cast iron comprises carbide whose volume ratio to a bainite matrix structure and spheroidal graphite is 15-35%. A spherodizing agent and a binding substance are added to the alloy cast iron which is in a state of molten iron drawn out from a melting furnace. The amount of the spheodizing agent which is added to the molten iron is 1.0-1.8% of mass of the molten iron.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
