VACCINE COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING NECROTIC ENTERITIS IN CHICKEN

PURPOSE: A vaccine including recombinant Clostridium antigen protein, Net-B or PFO, is provided to effectively prevent necrotic enteritis in chicken, to reduce occurrence of necrotic enteritis, to strengthen chicken health, and to reduce economic loss in a farmhouse. CONSTITUTION: A vaccine composition for preventing necrotic enteritis in chicken contains Clostridium perfringens-derived recombinant Clostridium antigen protein, Net-B or PFO. The vaccine composition additionally contains a pharmaceutically acceptable adjuvant. The Clostridium antigen protein is prepared by natural extraction or genetic recombination. The genetic recombination comprises: a step of inserting a nucleic acid sequence encoding the antigen protein into an expression vector; a step of transforming the vector to a host cell and culturing a transformant; and a step of obtaining the antigen protein from the transformant.
