PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a charging current of a wireless power receiver are provided to wirelessly charge without a required power of each wireless power receiver.;CONSTITUTION: A wireless power transmitter includes a power source(100), a signal modulator(140), and a transmission controller(160). The power source outputs a power signal. The signal modulator modulates the power signal and generates a data signal. The transmission controller calculates a total sum of a charging request power about each wireless power receiver if a packet data signal is received for a wireless charging from one or more wireless power receivers.
