PURPOSE: Halocynthia roretzi-derived sialyltransferase is provided to selectively target yeast golgi body, to produce sialyltransferase in a heterologous host, and to be used as an enzyme resource for sialydation of glycoprotein for therapy.;CONSTITUTION: A polypeptide contains an amino acid of sequence number 2 and has Halocynthia roretzi-derived sialyltransferase activity. A polynucleotide encodes the polypeptide and has a base sequence of sequence number 1. An expression vector contains the polynucleotide. A transformant is prepared by transforming with the expression vector. A method for producing sialoglycoconjugates comprises: a step of mixing Halocynthia roretzi-derived sialyltransferase, a sialydation receptor, and a sialic acid donor; and a step of reacting the mixture.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
