PURPOSE: A smart booster power-up device and a method thereof are provided to shorten initializing time of a braking system, by enabling a micom to enter a normal mode when an input value of a brake-angle signal is above a predetermined threshold value.;CONSTITUTION: A smart booster power-up device(200) comprises a voltage rectifier(210) and a micom(220). The voltage rectifier outputs VCC and a reset signal when first starting of a vehicle is turned on. The micom is initialized by the VCC and the reset signal and enters a normal mode, and outputs a holdup-high signal to maintain the operation of the voltage rectifier. The micom enters a power saving monitoring mode maintaining an active state of a holdup signal output port and a trigger signal input port(224) only when the starting of the vehicle is turned off.
