PURPOSE: An image reading device and an image reading method thereof are provided to generate a scan image without a specific color by changing a change of a light source without extra image processing work.;CONSTITUTION: A user interface unit(120) receives a color to be removed during scan work. A scanning unit(140) scans a manuscript by using a color-changeable light source. A storage unit(130) stores a scan image of the manuscript.
