PURPOSE: A manhole access assisting device for ship construction is provided to allow workers to safely and easily enter a hull through a manhole. CONSTITUTION: A manhole access assisting device for ship construction comprises a safety foothold(10) and a safety handle(20). The safety foothold comprises hanging parts hung on the lower part of a manhole; and a foothold part integrated with the hanging parts. Coupling clamps are arranged on both ends of the safety handle so that the handle can be coupled to or separated from one side of the manhole.
